WalletConnect is an open-source protocol that allows users to connect their digital wallets to decentralized applications (dApps). This means that you can conduct transactions on dApps without the need to repeatedly enter your private keys manually..

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use Wallet Connect for online transactions:

  1. Click on the "Connect Wallet" button on the dApp you wish to use.

  2. Choose "WalletConnect" as your preferred connection method.

  3. If you are browsing the dApp using your mobile device, you will be prompted to choose your wallet from a list of supported wallets. Select "Frontier" from the list. You will be redirected to the Frontier app.

  4. If you are using a desktop browser, you will be prompted to scan a QR code with your mobile device. Open the Frontier wallet app on your mobile and scan the code to connect.

  5. You will be asked to approve the connection to the dApp. Always double check the URL of the dApp you are visiting as the decentralized web is not stranger to fraudsters. If you have verified everything, go ahead and approve the connection.

  6. Once connected, you will be able to perform transactions on the dApp using your Frontier wallet. You can confirm the transactions on your mobile device and sign them with your private key.

Using Wallet Connect with Frontier wallet is an easy and secure way to manage your digital assets and perform transactions on dApps. Always remember to disconnect from the dApp at the end of every session for maximum security.
