OpenDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization focused on recognizing contributors within the NFT ecosystem by appreciating and rewarding participants who have invested in it. Its goal is "to pay tribute, protect, promote" the NFT community. It focuses on NFT creators, connoisseurs, and the OpenSea marketplace that facilitates their exchange. DAOs allow individuals to come together and align toward a shared goal. OpenDAO is not affiliated with the OpenSea NFT platform. It is a separate entity created by an anonymous individual with the sole purpose of rewarding members of the NFT community.

Here's a step-by-step guide to staking $SOS on Frontier:

  1. First, you need to switch to the Ethereum chain in your Frontier Wallet that has native support for staking SOS.

  2. You can do this by tapping on the top left dropdown list above your wallet address and selecting the Ethereum chain.

  3. Once the wallet is selected, select the ‘Stake’ option on the top of your home screen.

  4. This will open the ongoing staking opportunities on the chain with the corresponding APR rewards. Select SOS to proceed.

  5. You will now open the ‘Validators’ screen, where you can browse the various validators and their uptime, commission %, number of tokens delegated, and rewards. Choose the validator you wish to use to proceed.

  6. On the next screen, you can enter the number of SOS tokens you wish to stake. If you wish to stake all your tokens, tap on ‘Set max.’

  7. Once you enter the number of SOS tokens you wish to stake, you will also see the number of veSOS tokens you will receive.

  8. In the ‘Review transaction’ screen, you will see a summary of the SOS you have chosen, its present market value, the number of veSOS tokens you will receive, and the corresponding Network Fee. You can modify the network fee (please note any changes may result in the transaction failing).

  9. Frontier will verify you have enough of the native token to pay the gas fees, and once you are ready, select ‘Approve SOS’ to proceed.

  10. You will be prompted to enter your Frontier passcode in this step.

  11. Once approval is completed, select ‘Stake’ after reviewing the latest gas fee.

  12. You will again be prompted to enter your Frontier passcode to verify the staking request.

  13. Your request will be submitted to the blockchain, and you will be notified once it is completed.

  14. Once complete, you will be able to see the staked tokens in your positions tab (if available) or at the ‘Staked’ tab under ‘Stake’ on your wallet home screen.
